By accessing or using HornLog (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
HornLog is a service-history tracking platform for musical instruments. Users can register instruments, log service records, upload receipts, search public instrument histories, and transfer instrument ownership.
3. Account & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN and email credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Register instruments you do not own or have authorization over
- Upload fraudulent, misleading, or malicious content
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or rate limits
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service in bulk
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (instrument details, service records, receipts). By submitting content, you grant HornLog a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HornLog and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason, with or without notice.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas, United States.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
